On May 30, WDTL's Women's Networking Commission hosted 40+ women for a networking breakfast and panel discussion at Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt.  The esteemed female panelists spoke on using your unique network to derive business, finding and offering mentorship, and forming lasting connections to aid in building and advancing your career.

Panelists: Evie Winters, Stefanie Fain, Melissa Roeder, and Colleen Moffitt, were moderated by Jackie Jensen Erler.

    
     
  

Speaker Bios

Evelyn Winters 

Evie Winters is a shareholder at Bullivant Houser Bailey, where for the last 10 years she has been litigating complex civil matters, primarily in the areas of product liability and medical device litigation, professional liability, commercial disputes, and wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases.  Evie enjoys the strategy and surprises that come with trying cases.  She serves on Bullivant's Board of Directors, which manages Bullivant's three offices across Washington, Oregon, and California.  Evie is also the mom of two wild boys.

Melissa Roeder
Melissa K. Roeder tries asbestos cases locally and on the Foley Mansfield national trial team. Her latest focus is cannabis practice which is an area she is building a book of business in from the ground up. She rides a Harley Davidson and is a former Alaska commercial fisherman. She is currently jealous of her shoes as her social media trial shoe pictures get 1,000+ “likes” whereas her brilliant narratives get 10 “likes” on a good day.

Steffanie Fain
Steffanie Fain is an attorney at Carroll, Biddle, & Bilanko.  She assists clients with a wide range of business and commercial litigation matters, including professional liability, Consumer Protection Act, and class action claims.  Steffanie also founded and manages her firm's cannabis practice.  She represents retailers and producer/processors with their transactional, regulatory, and compliance needs in a complex and constantly evolving industry.  Prior to joining her current firm, Steffanie was a partner at an AmLaw 200 law firm with over 850+ attorneys.
